Based in Nashville, Ryan Johnson, CPA, CGMA, is a shareholder in LBMC’s audit division. With over 10 years of professional experience in audit and advisory services, Ryan has served primarily privately held and equity backed healthcare organizations, including for-profit hospitals, behavioral health providers, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes, pharmacies, home health and hospice care providers, and physician and dental practice management companies. He has experience consulting on complex accounting issues, including business combinations, consolidation, revenue recognition, and risk contracting.
He began his career in public accounting with LBMC in 2011 and has been instrumental in the growth of the healthcare practice through serving clients and his involvement in developing and training of staff, as well as development and implementation of best practices. Prior to joining LBMC, Ryan served as an Army Ranger in the 75th Ranger Regiment.
He is a member of Leadership Healthcare, the Nashville Healthcare Council and HFMA.
